I also offer consulting services by providing in services to school districts and other organizations on how to best meet the academic, social , and behavioral needs of the LD/ Special Needs individual in school and the community. Included would be meetings with teachers, parents, and students go discuss and agree upon specific individual differences and the interventions required to assist with the learning styles, academic, social, and behavioral skills necessary for success in school, and in life.
Advocacy Services are also available to provide a helping hand at IEP, Mediation, and Arbitration meetings to insure reasonable accommodations and appropriate services are provided to the LD/Special Needs individual as guaranteed by Federal Laws such as IDEA, and PL-94-142.
Being the father of an adult son with Autism, gives me a unique perspective to all of these issues, as we, as a family, have been involved with them for 25 years.
